Just an intermediate update. No real news on my wife, so far. I'm playing it not just AT meal time, but during preparation time and again if there's a little snack time, etc. Of course I'm looping it 6 times at night, also. I've verbally encouraged her not to worry as much as she does about protein, because I've backed off my protein intake and have not seen ill effects (that I know of--just had blood drawn, so we'll see how the tests come out...)
However, I am doing fine. Even when I splurge and have a beer and some pizza, which almost always drives my weight up at least temporarily, has been sending my weight back into my old zone (pre sub), BUT it drops back down to my new weight for the rest of the week.
My weight is stabilizing it appears at 188-190. I'm 6'2" and lift heavy a couple times a week. My waist is down almost an inch since I began the sub, which is really the only place I felt I had any fat to lose.
After another 7 days of making her listen to the sub during meals, we'll report back.
Just wondering, should I try playing the 'hybrid' version during meals with the sound of ocean in the background?
