Luck/Synchronicity: Yesterday I stumbled upon a method (without actively searching) to help myself fall asleep.
While in bed pull your toes to your face -- the opposite of curling them -- hold while counting to ten -> relax while counting to ten -> rinse and repeat 10 times. A simple relaxation excercise. But it works well. I fell asleep really fast.
When I woke up some hours later, my mind was brimming with thoughts. I did this excercise again and once more I was able to easily drift back into sleep. This is a welcome help for someone insomnia-prone like me.
