My observation is that as well, but you seem to be fighting everything tooth and nail. So it is clear that whatever is in the way is triggering the E3 part of the sub and that you are fighting the process as hard as you can. But as for how to improve, speed up, increase your results, I don't know what to tell you. Other than maybe to identify and trace back everything standing in the way and ask why a lot.
