Would listening to different formats of the same track in the same run be a problem?

For example, for a total of 5 loops, 3 are masked, 2 are hybrid. Thanks

Not at all. I did that quite often on DMSI 3.1. I'd start with 2 loops of hybrid, followed by 3 masked. I often experimented with various patterns, like 1 hybrid, then 1 masked, etc.

I didn't start that until using the program with the same format for months, where experimenting was more warranted. On 3.3, I'm making a lot of progress using hybrid exclusively, so I'll save that kind of thing for a few months from now.
