Ugh I'm now convinced the cycle is effecting me. Had a computer die yesterday, replaced it then realized the user has 3 monitors and the replacement pc only had two outputs. It's just been constant little crap like this preventing me from looking at more pressing issues like inventory balances.
I'm just getting frustrated because days like that tire me out and I have trouble actually working on what I want to work on, my music. It's like I get home, meditate a bit to relieve the tension, then immediately get tired. I'm still balancing that pushing forward without stressing myself out too much.
I think the hardest part is improving with music is a skill and practice. It's enjoyable, but it does have its rough moments. So I sometimes feels like work after work. And no matter how much people say not to let a fun hobby turn into work, well you reach a certain point when you want to get better and it becomes work. Trying to avoid that means lack of growth. Stopping when something becomes more difficult instead of fun is the number one killer of progress. But a few difficult concepts have been clicking for me the past few days so I feel like I've improved in a short span of time compared to the grinding I was doing before.
