Ok I have a question. That is based more on the electronics side of subs.
I have had to take a break from AM6 for the last 2 1/2 days to run MIR due to illness. I have been playing MIR Ultrasonic FLAC on my cheap $60 kindle fire for the last 2 days. Just a few hours ago I decided to switch and run it from my laptop to my analog tube headphone amp to my headphones, and I can feel the sub working more effectively.
Why would this be? Is it the crappy little tablet that doesn't have the ability to utilize the full potential of FLAC? Is my laptop that much better for playing subs? Is my analog headphone amp actually working to produce better audio as it is supposed to do.
My goal is to narrow down the possible issues. I bought that crappy little tablet to play subs so I wouldn't kill my laptop quicker by playing subs all night. So it would suck if that was it. I can actually hear the ultrasonic subs, which isn't exactly a good thing because they're not the greatest thing to hear all night and take some getting use to. Nevertheless, I cant with my ears hear an increase in audio clarity because anyone who can actually hear US will know that its almost impossible to hear a noticeable increase in the sound. It's like saying one combination of forks and knives on plates produces a MORE irritating sound than another pair.
Anywho, thoughts?
