Also, the best way to sell is to be honest and transparent. At least, that's what's working for me.

Yeah it was more to do with the type of company it was and their sales tactics, and over here, at least, you literally have 5-10 seconds to get someone's attention at the door, so some stretching of the truth is somewhat necessary to keep their attention and raise interest. "I want to sell you windows" would only get the door shut lol. No worries though, now heading to a more honest sales path.

Have you watched "Straight Line of Persuasion"? The way to capture someone's attention is in tonality (HOW you say it, rather than what you say).
