Protip for you: Next time someone pays you a compliment: Ask them why, instead of immediately rewarding with a "Thanks!"
Example: If someone compliments you on the way you dress, look down at yourself and examine with them (Body Language), and say, "Huh? Really? What is it you like about it?"
In your scenario, maybe ask her, "Really huh? Why do you think that or what makes you say that?"
Regardless, the idea is to challenge them on their compliments in an effort to make them become more invested in defending their position, opening the conversation for more potential outcomes. It's a very subtle trick that makes them like or appreciate what they just said even further.
Just thought I'd drop a hint for you. Cheers!
This is fascinating, thanks for the tip.

Btw, where did you learn this? Any good books on the subject? Those little technical tweaks are invaluable.
ION, I'm surprised I didn't have a wet dream last night.
I was SO horny all day and it took every ounce of strength not to watch porn, tho I did download some (told myself I'd watch it later as a means of satisfying but not satisfying myself).
This morning I'm horny too. Like nothing can satisfy me.
In the past this energy has not served me in sales, but I intend to find a way to make it work.
Other than that, it's a day off today and I plan to spend the time studying that book and pick-up material.
Also, been getting heavy nostalgia recently. Watching Yu-Gi-Oh episodes (used to watch it back when it was on tv years and years ago. There was a "golden era" of my childhood in my teen years in between the f*cked-up times where my mom had a steady job and we had our own house with a mortgage. We had cable and internet and life was on the upswing... just a year or so before my mom went on another spiral and we lost it all.
Anyhow, I just noticed how my nostalgia is strong this weekend.
