If she asks you to help her get a green card then you'll know, till then I think it's safe to say you know what you're doing.
Following your gut is an important thing. I've struggled with that all year myself. I'm still not listening to it to be honest, opting to try things I've never tried before. We'l see how that goes.
But yeah, great progress on your end. And to be at the age you are and being as dedicated to self-improvement as you are is very good. I always tell myself "man, if I knew or did XYZ when I was younger, where would I be right now?"
