I don't see that conversation as not normal. I wasn't there to be sure but just from the conversation I don't see anything crazy.

I say that because a lot of women and even men behave like that. They are stuck on one idea and can't see the other point of view.
And from Sarge reaction he was stuck on his idea also.
Last time I was talking with a woman she did that, and I'm around 98% sure she wasn't attracted to me.

To me, what's weird is that it's a GENETIC thing, meaning it can't possibly NOT be in a family if a member of that family gets it. So it' IRRATIONAL on her part, but she's claiming rationality.

To me, clearly something is off.
