Have some thoughts on DMSI and perhaps what 3.2 needs.
Mostly this is just spitballing and brainstorming however.
With my bro tonight things were good. Not quite as good as yesterday but I did seem to "hook" him more.
Xist definitely hooks people if you can connect with them or share a moment.
Actually, I think sharing a moment is more powerful (and more important) than connecting now. Connecting is kind of like "ok, we're similar, now what?"
Whereas sharing a moment it's already implied that you are connected through the moment but also are moving towards something or growing together. You both have a common goal and are supporting one another towards it.
I think it's much better.
Jordan Belfort says that Rapport is built when people realize that you are someone who can help them achieve their goals.
I think that is much more powerful than being someone relatable to them.
In fact I know this because I did so well in sales when I focused ONLY on being the guy who can help people with their goals. This year, I'm focusing more on being relatable and conversation skills and pow, no luck.
I also remember back to when I was on AM 6 and how my trainer came to me to talk all the time. I had no convo skills. When i spoke, I was crass, rude, probably borderline retarded yet this guy wanted me in his inner circle.
SO I guess conversation skills aren't so important, but they are in some ways.
I guess we need to know how much.
So for 3.2 more focus on sharing those moments and being the supporting force than relating, would be my guess, but it's hard to say. I'm no expert in human relations or socializing.
All I'm going off is sales experience which is only 3 years, which isn't much to be very honest.
