DMSI 3.1 and MLS exploration - Ascension to ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)hood

So.... I cleaned a screen last week, and did a horrible job at it ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). I got reprimanded for it today.

At least I had the opportunity to learn what NOT to do!

The production manager is an ISTJ, and is a damn good one at that. He's a great teacher, too! But I'm an ENFP, and have trouble paying attention to details. So the one thing I forgot to do basically rendered the 1 hour I spent cleaning that screen useless, and now it has to be re-cleaned. #thestrugglesofanenfp

I still want to learn more though, and I'm pretty sure that MLS manifested that opportunity to learn. but I have GOT to get my shit together when it comes to paying attention to details. I know it's not my strong suit and all, but it's a handicap. I need to at least be able to cover my handicap and make it from conscious incompetence to conscious competence. Even if it doesn't become unconscious competence, I should at least still have my weaknesses covered.

As the great Ice Cube once said "You only get paid off what you know" -- the more I learn, the more I know. The more I know, the more money I make. That's why I want to learn in the first place -- to steadily increase my net worth

It takes grinding to be a king, after all.



Bonus nugget of information for y'all, ENFP is the exact opposite of ISTJ. ISTJ's are super detail oriented, doing things by the book, the tried and true way. ENFP's are super big picture thinkers, idea generators, living in the world of possibilities. With that said, I would love to develop my inferior and tertiary function (Si) and (Te) respectively.

Anyway it's been a while since the last time I lost track of time when I'm on something.
You might want to play around background music -whenever possible- while doing your thing.
I personally prime my MLS-boosted thirst of learning with metal like this one Gojira - Vacuity (I love the lyrics) and listening to slower paced music like this Song from A Secret Garden while on stuff.

It's quite creepy though, to see myself pointing out details like never before, I realized it when I drag myself to bed since dawn was getting closer.
Damn you, MLS..
