why do headphones? Hybrid? She's not gonna listen to that on headphones 24/7 at max volume. You should be using ultrasonic, and you should be using it on speakers when she's not in a position to absolutely need headphones.
Why is she reluctant to listen?
Ok, thanks for the instruction. I'm just a stressed unit ATM, and I'm not thinking very clearly.
I was thinking logistics about MIR (regarding headphone usage) affecting all of us as a family. I was worried about the 24/7 thing and making a latent virus or bacteria come back with a vengeance for my son and I, as well as the anti-piracy code affecting someone. We're not going to all be able to be in the same room 24/7 until she clears.
She's reluctant to listen because she doesn't believe subliminals work. She's "open," but not really. This is definitely a good opportunity to become a believer.
You're not going to trigger AP code by using it that way.
Play it on speaker of some sort at max volume that she can handle, and leave it looping 24/7 until 3 days after the last signs of infection are gone. That's VERY important.
If you can't stay in the same room, then when you get more than 30 feet away from her play source, start your own. Shut down yours when you come within 30 feet of hers.
It's so important that you do this right that it's better not to use it at all than to screw this up with a serious infection. Keep it playing, because just like antibiotics, you're killing the weaker ones first. Breaking the playing of it after she feels better but before 3 days would certainly make a believer of her when it came back, but risking her life is not worth making a believer of her.
So either don't use it, or make absolutely sure you use it properly: ultrasonic only, 24/7, 3 days after all symptoms are gone, and max possible volume on speakers.
MIR is designed to take into account situations like this for the AP code. It's more important to make it work than worry about piracy in this case.
Thanks, Shannon - that makes this a lot easier!
I will say this - since starting the hybrid (even at the lower volume so she can interact with the kids and me) - her fever has broken and is back to 98.8. It's just the 2nd loop. She's also more talkative, and not in the pain she was before. She started sweating 10 minutes into the first loop, but claims the sweating started before she started MIR. She has already mentally constructed that it must be "the ibuprofen kicking in and the sweating." Sigh.
