For those who didn't get to experience this kind of loving home, well, that just breaks my heart, man. It's a feeling I never felt that strongly before I had kids (not for my own parents, siblings, or friends). Great post RTBoss. Reminded me of a couple of years ago when a friend and I were discussing "love" and falling in love and how it was easy when we were younger and how it seems an impossibility.
I especially like the above paragraph where you mention "when a child is born, love comes built-in". Gave me a totally different perspective on love.
You did not talk about how love develops between adults (I'm specifically talking about man/woman love). In your opinion, what caused the love/bond between your wife and yourself to develop and grow?
I intend to answer this, hunk, I just haven't had the time to sit and provide a thoughtful answer.
Just wanted to add quickly,
-I stopped to say "Hi," to a dude at the gym I met recently, and he wouldn't stop talking! He even said, "Man, I am SO sorry, I'm just talkin' your ear off!"
-I've been talking to a lot of my neighbors...a lot. This has mostly to do with helping my son ride his balance bike, which he's already starting to nail.
-A guy at Walmart glared at me while I was backing my car up (hey, it was clear when I started movin'!). When I looked at him in my side-mirror, he suddenly looked away and acted like he forgot something back at his car. Lol.
-2x hybrid kicked my ass the two days I ran it. Emotional swings and massive fatigue. Also had some gross dreams.
-I'm laughing spontaneously, like I'm care-free. I haven't felt like this since the world didn't feel like it was on my shoulders 15 or more years back.
-A woman in a dress at dinner last night opened her legs for me...constantly. Snapped a spy pic, will post at a later time.
-Ran 2x masked, and it seemed like my wife was more apt to get on my case. Not sure if a pattern is developing there.
Finally, we're scheduled to have the baby Thursday PM or Friday morning. We go into the hospital at 6 PM Thursday (central). My wife's term, baby's healthy, but with the blood pressure issues, we want to make sure we get her out before my wife's health could take a hit.
