Bookstacks got my thoughts on DMSI turning in the journal discussion thread:
I'm sure this isn't the time for suggestions for the next version, but I want to jot this down here, as it's what I'm thinking.
LDS 24/7 seems like a waste of energy in a sense. I have no idea who it is, where she is, how it's affecting her, when it will cause her to manifest in my life, how to know wtf she is when she gets here...Not sure what else the models will show, but I'm sure we can come up with a different, more efficient configuration - or a better use for this energy.
Energy sourcing:
Glycogen - stored carbohydrate in the body, to be used as long as blood sugar can be maintained in a healthy manner. Even when muscle glycogen is depleted, a healthy person has liver glycogen to keep blood sugar in the normal 80-120 range (albeit lower toward 80 when fasted).
Body fat, to be used as an energy source, to the extent consciously desired, to the extent that is safe, without using body fat vital for the optimal health of the body.
That way these things, in addition to the sun source, will be used when we aren't eating - or don't desire to eat.
