OCD is an emotional issue, ASC would just stack confidence on top of that so you would end up with somebody who is really confident but still has OCD.

The part in italics is a direct insult. It reads that way to me, and it obviously reads that way to Ben. So yes, it is time to stop being insulting. You can say you believe someone is being illogical without being insulting.

And by the way, I fail to see where Ben was being illogical.
