Now it is tempting to think that the women got overwhelmed with their sexual feelings and felt a need to distance themselves from me. The woman who screamed behind a closed door, maybe she saw a mouse.
I have another idea. I think the aura brought emotions to the surface they were suppressing by making them feel emotionally raw or sensitive. I don't know how else to describe it or account for such reactions, but it's like they couldn't hold it together. As though the facade they are used to putting up with others just shattered. I can't prove it. I don't know if I'm right. But it was the weirdest day I've ever had interacting with women.
Any thoughts people have, I would appreciate.
I agree, it's tempting to shrug it off, but like you, I'd like to get to the bottom of this kind of response.
I've had it a few times in sales. A woman literally screamed "NO!" at me one time and slammed the door before I was done my pitch I had made a hundred times.
As much as I'd like to believe it was her, I'm of the opinion that negative reactions are clues to how we are coming across.
