Either I ask random people for taking photos or hire professionals, how many pictures will I need for the apps and the websites? You also mentioned about good pose. What's a good pose for dating profile? (Shouldn't the professional know though?)

I'm such a noob for this stuff.

Lol @ the professional photographers. They SHOULD know what is a good pose (you are right) but they probably don't unless they're really good (and really expensive). The question is: why pay for a guy to tell you how to pose if you already know how to pose???

As far as the number of pictures go, the guy (which you recommended me to check) mentioned something about main photo, and 2~3 supporting photos. I suppose that means 3~4 photos in total.

And I find it interesting that I tend to do 2 and 3 normally. I do pose 3 a lot especially, when I need to stand on for a while, and when there is a wall/pole nearby. (Though my hand placement may be different.) I don't do those poses a lot in the pictures though, and unfortunately, I don't think I look as good as the guy in the picture.
