I think you are vastly underestimating the intelligence of your subconscious mind, and the person scripting your subs.
Since some people respond better to lower volume and others to higher...Would it be possible to put something that instructs the subconscious to choose the best volume to run the subs?
Shannon actually just implemented this feature in the latest version of DMSI.

And in the next version, I will be implementing full auto-tuning. It will figure out your ideal volume and usage patterns for you.
