I just had another thought. I'm attracted to women, so the reset is supposed to happen with women.
But for someone who is a heterosexual man like me, does the reset happen with men too?
Reason I'm suggesting this is that if you go into a social group of people who already know you or who might stereotype you, if the women see the men treating you in such a way that suggests you're high status and cool, that will be a major attractive factor in the eyes of the women.
