I don't hear any beep. Some people must have better hearing than others.
I know my hearing is at least decent. I can hear the ultrasonic pitch in the hybrid tracks.
I've never heard any beeping in any of Shannon's subs, including DMSI 2.4 and 3.0.1A. I use the FLAC version trickling stream, ultrasonic, and trickling stream hybrid tracks.
