I've never listened to any masked sub from IML, but I wouldn't be surprised if there's some amplitude modulation technique Shannon is using to make sure the sub plays below conscious understanding and the results of that mixing sound to the conscious ears like beeps.

I use FM, not AM.

I figured you used FM for the ultrasonics but didn't know you also used it for masked. I learned something today!
