I think you should abandon DMSI and use the knowledge and tech you've discovered up to now in upgrading the AYP's. I really do still think something like DMSI is too ambitious for you. You are starting to make silly mistakes and costing your mental and physical health over this and it's not really worth that.
Put DMSI on the back-burner for a few months and upgrade the AYP's instead. It must be easier than DMSI.
