Just the opposite... ultrasonic is louder because it doesn't have the ocean surf or trickling stream to drown it out.
That's why you shouldn't use the ultrasonic track with headphones.
You can use the hybrid with headphones because you can hear the loudness of the masked track.
The ultrasonic track of the hybrid has not had the volume adjusted for either ultrasonic or the masked component. If you want, you can lower the volume.
