Hybrid format is the ultrasonic format and one of the masked formats in one track

Is the volume level of the ultrasonic component of the track lower than the masked track?

Just the opposite... ultrasonic is louder because it doesn't have the ocean surf or trickling stream to drown it out.

That's why you shouldn't use the ultrasonic track with headphones.
You can use the hybrid with headphones because you can hear the loudness of the masked track.

You have almost got it. What I meant was - on the hybrid track, has the ultrasonic component's volume been reduced slightly, so that when the user listens at a comfortable volume according to the audible part of the track, they are not playing the ultrasonic part too loud by default?
