For someone whos never used AM, would it still be worth running 6.0 at this stage? Why I ask is, the tech in newer subs is powerful. The qurples are multiplying by the hundeds. Even E2 seems to be outdated comparatively, words per second, quirples, etc. You have mentioned AM7 is likely to be released late 17/18. Would it be wiser to just stick to 5.5G and 6G (ASC) until that time?
It depends on what you want. If you want what you can get from AM6, then do AM6. If you want to stick to 5.5G+ until AM7, go for it. AM6 is still a life changingly powerful subliminal. It's just that in the transition from 5G to 6G we have a LOT of development to unload into the skeleton script. There's a lot more to come, too.
