i bought someone DMSI on their sub shop account. using my paypal. would that trigger the copy protection?
Basically I am able to use ultrasonic while sleeping and at the same time a girl can sleep next to me without activating the copy protection?
But no, as Mr. Anderson said, that would not trigger copy protection. Now if she started using it for herself, or she had a copy that wasn't paid for... that could be another story.
Does DMSI have copy protection?(I thought the copy protection debate got over with you saying you'd rather focus on advancing technology than worrying about copy protection)
There is antipiracy scripting in DMSI. It's very short and very sweet and isn't the focus of my efforts. In four statements, it simply points out that piracy is illegal and is not the right thing to do, and it is urging you to not do that and correct your actions if you have.
When the final comes out, I may advance it further. For the time being, this is plenty good enough. I am not interested in spending my time trying to prevent piracy right now. The more powerful these programs become, the less complex and long the AP code needs to be. But knowing how tempting it will be in the future to pirate this program especially, yes, there is AP code in it. It accounts for 203 words in a script that is 15,404 words long in 2.5.
