On the flip side, if a man doesn't care what people think of him while he chases pussy, but another man doesn't chase pussy because he's concerned with "being alpha", which one of the two is truly alpha?
Sarge I will hopefully have responded to this in my response to CatMan below.

I mean, overall, women don't seem to value or understand ascendant alphas, and I'm not interested in the program making it so that I have to search for unicorns to find one that will value me and the ascendant-alphaness. The value of this man should be inherent and obvious to them and us, in order to be worth it. Maybe the AM program is going down the wrong road, and should go for traditional alpha, as obviously it's far more understood, valued by women in particular. And since women are a normal part of a heterosexual man's life, I don't think it's wrong to evaluate their feedback on my development.
In this part of your response you have placed the value of a woman above your own because you are expressing the desire to change yourself to become what you believe a woman values and wants. AM guides/teaches/pushes you to become what you value and want. It teaches you that your value is above what any woman may value and want.
You said that you've often wondered if this "ascendant alpha" thing is worth it. It depends on what your goal is. Who do you want to be? To quote the great Dead Prez (wildly out of context) "Would you rather have a lexus or justice? A dream or some substance?" What kind of man do you want to be?

But between an ascendant alpha most women mistake as a nice guy and a bit asexual and overlook and doesn't get recognition or laid, or a traditional alpha that gets immediate recognition and laid, I know which one I'd choose. Obviously feedback from women is extremely important if you want to date them or have sex with them, so pretending their opinion of you doesn't matter because of how alpha you are, even when they don't seem to be valuing what you've become or understand it, may not be the best way to go about things. I think AM7 may need a rethink about these things and be more reality-driven and less idealistic especially about what women value, personally. Meaning, we WANT them to value the ascendant alpha guy over the traditional alpha guy, but that doesn't really happen in reality. Having E3 in AM7 will no doubt go a very long way to making sure the program works far more effectively in and of itself, never mind the 6G tech and script changes. It should be an incredible program, but I think the idealistic nature of it needs reconsidering.
The difference in perspective comes from the fact that you haven't yet transcended your desire for sex (for many good reasons, I grant you) but I'm telling you now that when you do you'll realise that it is an unworthy goal and priority in your life. In my life I come first, women be damned. They can take their little pussies and spread their legs for whomsoever they choose, I won't change myself so they can use me for sexual gratification and discard me (with drama) at their leisure. I hold the keys. I hold the power. At least that's my goal if I'm not entirely there yet.
Now, having said all of that I don't think I should impose my (newfound--thanks AM ) beliefs on anyone else. I think that for the greater good of humanity Shannon made AM a requirement for WM and SM but I think he has come to the realisation that not all men want to grow into an ascendant alpha, some just want to get laid. That's what Become Sexually Irresistible is about (better name IMO).
