I'm just thinking of this girl I saw in sales today who I liked but her dad was there.
I know this is extreme but the idea of the "slow boiling frog" thing would be that somehow things naturally progressed towards me having sex with this girl. It literally seemed impossible but when you take the right steps, nothing is impossible.
Anyhow, just a thought.
