The autopilot is definitely making me smoother in my interaction with women. Yesterday a colleague dropped by my office. She wanted me to take a look at a video of herself and a former female colleague that her professional organization had made to promote the profession. I am sitting in my chair and she's standing beside me. As the video plays. She asked me how does she look. I told her "You look great". Then she's asking me to pick some of the best shots, screen capture them and email it to her. I make the screen caps and I type in the email "Here you go princess". She burst out laughing. I told her "I meant it, you look really good". Without batting an eye, I find myself touching her arm, shoulders, etc. as we're bantering back and forth. Before she leaves she initiate a high five. Afterwards, I thought to myself. "Did I really do this?". Before the sub, I would have never touch a woman before, especially at work. Definitely, the autopilot at work.
