Maxx, I did the same thing with "treble booster" and "treble reducer" I think they're called, during my AM6 run. I panicked like you! I still got benefits, so it's okay. I immediately stopped using them when I realised Shannon always says to make sure EQ settings like that are deactivated to make sure they don't ruin the intricacies of the sub's process.
You've clearly gotten benefits, so the sub is working, so that listening time you've invested hasn't been wasted at all. I think you're okay, man, just be more vigilant and make sure the EQ is off from now on and it's smooth sailing!
