I remember Shannon said that the 2.3 goal statement won out of the models he ran.
But it seems like 2.4 will have a new or at least a modified statement.

Once the sub is completely finished, will it be aimed at hitting as many girls as possible or just aimed at the ones I particularly find attractive? If it's the latter, I may buy it before final release so I can have one aimed at hitting as many as possible.

The end goal is a sub that snipes the people you are genuinely interested in, and ignores the rest.

Not to be nitpicky, but just for clarity, with that being the goal for the final DMSI, what would happen in these situations:

1. I see a hot girl and know I want her.
2. I see a girl that I want to know better. I'm attracted, but not "bang now"
3. I see a girl and just like her face or particular body parts
4. I know a girl. I like her as a person, she's cool and I want her

Is the final aura intended to hit all four of them?

Ultimately, what I want it to do is be polymorphic and self adjusting. When you encounter a person you are attracted to, it is (if I can make this work) going to cause her to respond according to how much she is attractive to you, with the standard DMSI power levels as baseline regardless of how attracted you are.

So I'm not turning off the aura, I'm planning to cause it to hit everyone, but it will focus on those you are interested in and do so to whatever degree they are interesting to you.

That's the idea right now. End result: The more you want it, the more you get it.

So 100 people who are average might respond to the base aura with IOIs, but that 10 is going to get power slammed with your auric awesomeness and be unable to resist. In other words, better to snipe the ones you want, than have 100 people giving minor IOIs and you really don't care.

That's the goal.
