Shannon and to anyone else who would like to comment,
For some of us, v2.3 was a real challenge. As I've been coming out of the negative side of all the weirdness, I had an odd but likely positive experience today.
I went to get some clothes and began talking to one of the women there. During my conversation, she vacillated between standing just out of arm's reach and standing close enough to casually touch. She mentioned her clothes size multiple times. She made a comment of "I don't wear certain clothes because how I dress in the bed room is different than how I dress when I'm out and about." She stuck her tongue out more than 7 times. Every once and awhile she disagreed with me. I challenged her once and she backed down and restated what she said/meant. She was slightly blushed. She stroked her hair a few times. She kept making comments along the theme of "yeh I already know that" (agreeing with me but implying I was saying something redundant) which made me wonder if she was closed off or trying to impress me with her independence and self-sufficiency (like she doesn't need a man and her life is completely together) or trying to qualify. She implied how old she was.
But I wondered if she was defensive.
1) Is there a way DMSI can be set up so it lowers the responders' defensiveness to the user... maybe even turns around the defenses (I'm not sure how to better say it)
2) Shannon what do you think was going on. I saw green lights, but I felt she was too "prickly" to get more casual with... but she made all those unnecessary, slightly sexual disclosures like a talking personal ad.
3) Perhaps I needed to direct the conversation to more casual/fun topics.
