Given that two separate mountains cannot be in the same place at the same time, essentially the only goal that would be satisfied by choosing either is some minor variant of "Climb a mountain."
Given a task, with the same outcome but two different levels of energy expenditure required to achieve the same goal during the same task, without some special reason for choosing to expend more energy, very few indeed would choose to do so.
The goal is to steer the subconscious into cooperation in this manner.
