There's no reason to. 6G is advancing through DMSI. It's going to eventually form the 6G skeleton script. It makes sense to use DMSI for this because it's the most advanced sub with the most 6G tech and has a lofty goal to push the tech to the limit and beyond. Each version adds more backported 6G tech to evaluate it in the field and tweak as necessary. Except for V2.3, as that just removed modules for testing purposes.
Don't worry man, NONE of us want 6G to take a nanosecond longer than possible, lol. Nobody is hijacking Shannon from 6G
