E2 is designed to help prevent additional issues from happening. It directs you to live the life that makes you truly happy and healthy, among other things. I don't know if it's possible to entirely prevent new issues - I can't stop death, and so forth - but E2 is designed to make the accumulation of new garbage as minimal as possible.
