In this way, the past controls the present which determines the future.
I don't agree, especially if you look at me and my brother. We look nearly identical but our personalities are different, as are our success with women. If what you're saying is true, I'd be the same as him and vice versa.
No, it's not the same for you and him. It doesn't seem to work that simply.
