MIR V1, the current version, would do exactly the same thing for someone with HIV that it would do for someone with any other kind of infection. It would tell the subconscious to focus its attention, energy and effort on maximizing the immune system and it's ability.
MIR1 is effective for some types of infection, and would probably be helpful for someone with HIV, but it most likely would not clear an HIV infection, if that's what you're asking. That would require a lot more power and more advanced instruction set, if it's possible at all.
Basically, MIR1 would most likely make a person with HIV less likely to get an infection of bacterial or viral nature if it is used preventatively, and would reduce the time of, and severity of any infection they had, possibly including HIV itself.
