You seem a little conflicted. That's a personal problem.
Some of us have the inverse goal in mind. If you are scared of your kundalini then don't embrace your sexuality fully and stop all meditation or choose a slow route of cultivation like Tai Chi. Surely, don't listen to THE KING/QUEEN OF ALL SEX SUBS, DAOSI V@!!! Hehe...

Really, most people don't have the right intent, knowledge, or level of purification when coming at Kundalini so when it erupts with negative side effects to a person's mental/physical health or whatever due to repression, blockages, and disease the spiritually inept are quick to cast blame and create fear. Actual Kundalini experiences are quite rare, by the way. I've observed that the real ones require a person to have significant spiritual protection and it greatly alters perception of this reality FOREVER. Seek truth and the rest will come naturally at it's own pace.
