The program leaves it up to your subconscious to achieve the goals of the program. AFAIK, it doesn't instruct you to specifically use the root chakra. If the root chakra is needed, it will be utilized.
It isn't so much root chakra issues, as much as how the sub might interact and influence sexual energies coming into the body. Root chakra really isn't a "thing" as much as it's a zone where sexual energies enter. Meridian theory seems to be more manageable with the area than the chakra ideas.
Obviously I don't know the details about what the sub does and how, and Shannon said it uses safe energy sources. I trust what he says but I'm very cautious when it comes to any type of sexual energies. I'm also super curious about it.
