I just got back from doing an experiment with V1 of AOSI. It was immediately after 2 loops. Was full when I started them, and did not notice any hunger or much in the way of energy, although I do notice that I feel the AC as being colder when I am under its influence. Temp stays the same, but it feels colder.
I literally turned off the second loop and within 6 minutes, walked into the restaurant where I eat when I'm working at the office, and sat down. I was the only customer there, partly because of the time (an hour before they close) and the rain, and I knew that would be the case. I wanted to see how the server I am observing would respond without having to worry about how other customers would respond, or while she was being run ragged by them.
The end result was quite interesting. Not what I had hoped, but much better than I expected. The last couple times I have been there, the first time I was with a female friend and this girl was showing what I believe to be definite interest. The second time I was there thinking I would get the same interest, and that time it was purely polite and friendly without any potential IOIs that could not be chalked up to politeness instead. The third time, tonight, we had an ongoing conversation the whole time I was there, which died and auto-resumed as she left the area and came back in the course of her performing her duties cleaning up before they close the restaurant.
The level of interest was basically "I'm interested, you have my attention, and I'm getting to know you better, but I'm not going to go super fast with this and you're going to have to deal with my self preservation necessities here too." So it was more than normal, but not a story that would shock and awe. It was reminiscent of a first date with someone who is interested but skittish, and definitely felt more than I am just a customer, but not so much so that anyone watching us would have noticed much of anything. Although I suspect that one of the other female employees is also responding to me, and did take notice.
I'm looking forward to seeing how this plays out, but I can only see this person one or two times a week.
In other news, given the amount of GSF you guys seem to have dealing with AOSI stuff, I've basically just transplanted everything concerning OGSF from E2 into the AOSI2 script. I figure it can't hurt to make that part of the skeleton script anyway.
