The greatest of all time Muhammad Ali, (boxer) passed away and the tributes are coming in. This man had no subliminals, he had nothing and yet he got on and did what he needed to, in the most brutal of professions at the most disgusting of recent times, facing fear at every turn.
I live in the now, I have not half of the struggles that man had and yet I can't seem to get up and do things. Why is this the case? (and this is for others here in the same predicament).
This was missed by you all so I'm just reposting, and wanted to clarify incase it wasn't clear, that I'm not speaking about mine or our levels of procrastination alone, but our inability to be success. What enables a boy such as Muhammad Ali, born at the time and in the class level that he was to become the greatest and fulfil his dream, and the rest of us can't? and this applies to all successful people like him of course.
I saw it, wasn't sure how to respond. :/
Bit sad. He was only 75, which means, despite his great achievements, he died at an average age. Really puts things in perspective for me. Like, would I rather be a dead lion or a live dog kind of thing.
But yeah I dunno. Does he have an autobiography? Might be worth picking up.
Or you could look at it this way.
He used his body to that degree inf passion and intensity, and took a hell of a lot of wear and tear and beating, and still managed to live to 75. That's rather amazing.
