This is a really popular topic. I don't remember seeing this much byzz about anything else on this site.
As for the "male-centric" posts, well, I am bi myself, but I was of course detailing the effect Id like to have on females.
I don't think manipulation is a danger since even having a slight emotional effect could, under that paradigm, be considered manipulation.
Heck, smiling at someone could be seen as manipulation. It's not the tool but how you use it.
