I'd like to make two points.
First, to be specific enough - as I see I wasn't previously - I am working on developing the core technology that will power the next AOS subliminal. That will take some time, and must be relegated to secondary or tertiary importance while I work on MHS and GPR12. So right now isn't the time to discuss how to make AOS.
And second, I'd like you all to know that I have a rule that goes like this:
There will be no abuse of me, my staff, my co-workers or my customers. Do any of those things and you're likely to get fired - regardless whether you are customer or staff.
I'm not the kind of guy who is desperate for customers or stupid enough to believe that I can make my customers happy by believing and adhering to the brain-dead "All customers are always right" mantra. It has been repeatedly shown that "the customer is always right" mentality and style of management only leads to staff being abused by people who think they are unlimitedly entitled. The staff then becomes miserable, and starts doing sub-par work, which makes the customers less happy and the both business and the customers end up suffering as a result.
The customer is not always right, and neither is the staff or the producer. And we all have to take responsibility when we are wrong. Me, you, Ben, Andrew. All of us. None of us is automatically entitled. None of us has the right to benefit at any cost to anyone else.
I will not tolerate my business being damaged by my staff, my coworkers or my other customers. I will not tolerate my staff, my coworkers or my customers being abused by my staff, my coworkers or my customers. Follow the rules we have here, or patronize someone else. Common sense and common courtesy is not so hard to do, and is certainly not an unreasonable expectation for any of us.
So when you come here, treat those around you with dignity, courtesy and respect, and you will receive the same in return. This is a community of people who are all sharing their experiences, and they all benefit when they follow the rules and abide by our policies. We have these rules and policies to prevent the community from disintegrating and to benefit everyone involved.
Personal responsibility.
