I think I'd rather see AM6 upgraded to 5.5g rather than AM6g. Give Shannon time to really perfect the 6g process before developing the flagship products. Releasing AM 6g so early in the technology's lifecycle means missing out on any future discoveries -- and I'm willing to bet that these discoveries are going to snowball once 6g's out.

I think Shannon would probably avoid doing that. The gap between 5.5G and the initial 6G releases will probably be too big for him to take the time to make an AM 5.5G and then make an AM 6.1G after 6G is released. I guess we'll have to wait and see though.

Shannon, at this point, do you see anything beyond 6G being potentially powerful enough to maybe result in 6.5G or even a 7G many years down the road?

I am only going to build it one more time. After that... no more. I didn't even want to do that, but we can't have the flagship product not being in the latest technology status.

I have tried to develop 6G as fully as possible and as far as possible so that I can stop developing it and start building useful things in it. I don't foresee a lot of chance for anything beyond it, because of the way it's designed. When I can't go any further, that's when it gets released.

Naturally, this has been said in some way before and look at where we are. So I'll just say... this time I tried to pre-empt that happening again.
