Shannon has said explicitly that he doesn't yet know what 6G is. I don't think anybody knows what's going to happen after 6G until it's at least finished.
With that said, personally, I'd be happy to buy both AM 5.5G and maybe AM (n)G later on (if I'm not already on BAMM). Assuming that Shannon already knows how to build a 6-stager in 5.5G, it would be out much sooner than 6G (and for some, the price may also be a factor).
Whether it makes business (or any other longer-term) sense to build both, that's a whole different angle.
