Your colognes, is this another business venture? I'd love to get my hands on Paradise if you're going to sell it. I was just at the mall about to buy my yearly bottle of John Varvatos Artisan (a citrus based "summer fragrance") and I thought of your post. If it's going to available any time soon, I'd love to hold off on the Artisan and give Paradise a try.
In order to make Paradise work, I have had to adopt a very, very slow approach. Make a small adjustment... wait a few days for it to settle down... spend a few days considering the results on skin and from the bottle, and seeing how various people like it... then make another small change and repeat.
In other words, it's going to be a while.
On top of that I have to wait for Andrew's help setting up that branch of the business, and so forth.
Today I added a little ginger to it, and it's not finished settling out yet but it's taken on a sort of smouldering sexiness. I like it, but it's definitely not where I was originally intending to go. I was originally aiming for fresh, light, breezy, tropical. I have tropical, to be sure, but it's more of a sensual, smouldering, come hither sort of fragrance right now. I like that, and I think I am going to explore it further and try to turn it into a fragrance as sexually attractive as possible, but it's so far not in the direction I was aiming for. So who knows, maybe there will be multiple variants.
Ultimately my goal is to make it so beautiful that people can't stop smelling it. So far the only branch I have had that from was decidedly feminine. I'm trying for unisex.
