The above should be quote of the year. That's true leadership, make legitimate effort to satisfy as many as possible in as viable and constructive ways as possible. It's a shame I find myself acquainting with more shortsighted poseurs than real deals for some reason (maybe I'm subconsciously trying to perpetuate a "big fish in a small pond" mindset?).
Be mindful of this when doing self-improvement work, make sure that you aren't (un-)intentionally trying to self-sabotage.
Yeah man, its tough. On one hand we gotta work our way up the ladder. Can't take care of others without taking care of our own stuff first, but when do we stop using that as a tool for progress? Are we actually lessening ourselves? Using a crutch? Trapped in fear? It gets pretty scary sometimes.
