By changing your inner most beliefs, your outer reality will conform to match.

I still don't get this because, until I got into pick up and learned about AFC's and such, I completely believed I was a ladies' man, despite being a virgin, I simply believed I was too attractive. However, reality never conformed to THAT.

And I also don't get what limitations there are, if indeed that is true. Because, if it's true, then shouldn't we be able to change our beliefs to, say, allow us to fly under our own power like superman?

Obviously, beliefs can't change some realities.

You don't get this because you are thinking too simplistically.

You completely sailed past part of what was said. Innermost beliefs. The subconscious mind, and what it believes to be true. You know, that stuff you accepted as true all the way back to birth from your experiences and interpretations of them?

Conscious beliefs may or may not change your reality. Subconscious beliefs always generate and can change that reality. Key word, subconscious.

As for flying like superman, again, you oversimplify. The system in which we exist has specific rules and laws, all limiters to us for specific reasons. Whether or not we know what those reasons are, they are there and they can only be transcended under specific extraordinary circumstances, or perhaps even not at all.

Programming your subconscious to allow you to fly like superman ignores the fact that gravity is a law that you're not allowed to break for personal entertainment value. It's bigger than you are, it's more important than you are, and unless you have learned to transcend the boundaries of this reality in ways that allow for disregarding it, you will fail.

I'm not saying it's not possible; I'm saying that if it is possible, we aren't evolved or aware enough to do it.
