First off you don't need his permission to do this, if you want to do it, then do it. However, if you do this, you're doing at your own risk. Shannon has said time and time again, FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS. Meaning you are required to run the latest version of AM before running WM/SM3, if you don't, then don't expect to get a refund period.
